A grieving family in Pap Yamo Village, West Alego Ward, Siaya County, seeks justice for their murdered kin, allegedly killed by suspected hired goons.

The deceased, Alloys Ochieng Nyapola, was brutally attacked and succumbed to injuries at Siaya County Referral Hospital.

Alloys’ mother, Rosemary Akinyi, recounted the shocking incident where her son was assaulted outside their home.

The attackers pursued Alloys to his house, where they also attacked his wife, Millicent Adhiambo.

The bereaved family believes the goons were hired over a dispute involving a cut tree a move that has left everyone shocked and worried .

The postmortem report revealed a raptured lung as the cause of death and the family is nw preparing for burial as they seek justice for their loved one.

Alloys’ widow, Millicent Adhiambo, called for justice and expressed fear over potential threats noting that action must be taken to those who were involved.

“I have been left with an eight-months-old baby and we live in fear for the thugs said that they would come back. I am requesting the government to follow up this case and ensure that justice is done, ” she said.

Adhiambo, the widow of the deceased, pleads for justice from the criminal justice system. With an eight-month-old baby and fearing the return of the thugs, she urges the government to take action.

Following Alloys’ death, the homestead now has two widows, Akinyi (Alloy’s mother) and Adhiambo. Akinyi reveals that the police have not visited the crime scene, even after seven days since the attack.

The police are yet to visit the crime scene, seven days after the attack.

Preparations for Alloys’ burial are underway.
