Sossion plans to vie for the Bomet Senatorial seat on a UDA party

Former Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General Wilson Sossion yesterday announced his plans to vie for the Bomet Senatorial seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party associated with Deputy President William Ruto.

Disclosing his association with Ruto for the first time, the Nominated MP blamed President Uhuru Kenyatta for the problems bedeviling the country and absolved his deputy over government failures.

Sossion claimed the President is to blame for the country’s collapsed economy due to his poor leadership.

He said Uhuru will go down in history as the leader who ruined the country’s economy and impoverished Kenyans when compared to former Heads of State.

He said the problems bedeviling the nation like high cost of living were as a result of many loans Uhuru’s government had borrowed.

“All these problems including the skyrocketing cost of fuel have occurred under the leadership of Uhuru. He is the single person to blame for all this mess,” said Sossion.

While rallying support for the DP’s presidential bid, Sossion said he is the only person who can manage to transform the country like former President Mwai Kibaki and bring it to its feet.

“We need a president who can deliver like Kibaki. When we compare Ruto with Uhuru there is a big difference and we have to say as it is,” said Sossion.
