The Cars Maina Kageni Has Spent Tens of Millions on, And is Going For More

Classic 105 morning Show host Maina Kageni loves cars and not every car but the best particularly made in Europe.

This week he added another one to his fleet. An advanced BMW X6 xdrive40i 2020. A car so far bought by few people around the world.

The eight-speed automatic Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) has advanced driving and safety features besides comfort and status. It is said he spent millions of shillings on it.

But this is not the first car Maina has spent millions on. He owns top-of-range vehicles from Germany, Britain and USA.

The car enthusiast is not about to brake his longing for cars. Cumulatively he has spent more than Sh60 million on them and he says he is yearning for more. We look at his parking.

BMW X6, 2016 model

Before he went for the latest BMW X6 series, Maina had bought the X6, model of 2016.

A ride that left many envious if they had such riches to acquire pricey, presentable and comfortable cars. It was claimed it cost him about Sh14 million.

He said he enjoyed the ease of access to it, which entails holding the door handle and it unlocks and locks without use of the key.

Jaguar V6

This one cost him around Sh13 million in 2014. A sleek sedan that set tongues wagging.

It proved his taste is unique. His colleagues at Radio Africa Group, including co-host Daniel “Churchill” Ndambuki alias Mwalimu King’ang’i on radio praised him saying “yaani akisema atakubariki…”.

Chevrolet Trailblazer

His unrelenting support for Manchester United earned him Chevrolet Trailblazer though not directly from the England-based club.

The car made by American automobile company Chevrolet, a division of General Motors.

The blue SUV was branded with Manchester United logo. He was gifted it when Chevrolet was sponsoring the club.

Maina was the company’s ambassador in Kenya as they tried to penetrate the market space. Chevrolet Trailblazer is not a cheap car and its features are fantastic.

Hummer

When he was rising very fast in media industry, Maina bought a Hummer H3. This was the time the American-made off-road vehicle was gaining popularity with celebs in Kenya and politicians like Raila Odinga.

It is however unclear where the five-door SUV went but he revealed he spent sh6 million on it.

Range Rover

This British brand luxury SUV is part of Maina’s fleet. It is a premium and rated as one of the best cars in the world.
