The day President Uhuru drove Evans Kidero in an ambulance

President Uhuru Kenyatta in July 3^rd 2017 handed over 7 ambulances purchased with money recovered from Chicken gate Scandal; UK firm which was found guilty of receiving bribe from Smith and Ouzman to help the firm win the then IIEC ballot paper printing tender.

Governors Joshua Irungu, (Laikipia), Ahmed Abdullahi (Wajir), Simon Kachapin (West Pokot), Julius Malombe (Kitui), Evans Kidero (Nairobi) and Senator Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet) received the ambulances on behalf of their counties.

Of all the governors present at State House during the function, President Uhuru chose to get in an ambulance with Evans Kidero who was then governor of Nairobi.

The President drove the Nairobi governor around State House in one of the brand new ambulances he handed over to county bosses.
