The competency based curriculum (CBC) whose pioneer grade will be sitting for the final exams this year has been haiied as a master stroke that will stop cheating of Exams.

Speaking to Citizen TV, the amani national congress MP said CBC is the best thing that ever happened to this country.

“CBC is the best thing that ever happened to us”. He told Citizen tv on Tuesday morning.

He said CBC will help kenyans move away from exam oriented system which produces learners who aren’t self reliant.

“The model that education is everything should end and CBC will ensure that education isn’t everything”. He said.

His Remarks come after his party boss Musalia Mudavadi said in February that Kenya kwanza government will abolish the CBC system.

According to Mudavadi, the system is burdensome to parents and was implemented without proper Consultations.

“The controversial Competence-Based-Curriculum of education will be scraped once the Ruto/Mudavadi government takes power in August,” he said on Twitter.

The ANC leader has been losing MPs because of some of the his decisions. A number of MPs ditched his party when he Joined Ruto early this year.
