Former president Uhuru Kenyatta personal assistant and Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagu is a man who hates Raila Odinga with a passion as he claims he should exit the political career.
Gachagua a good ally to deputy president William Ruto always wishes Raila can end his career and be a statesman like Mwai Kibaki ,in an earlier interview with Inooro TV said that he is privy to information that the BBI proposal is recommending the party to select leaders to represent the counties a similar case with South Africa system.
Gachagua said said that he has seen some suggestion from national assembly speaker Justin Muturi that Kenya should go the South Africa way where party has power to appoint and fire leaders.
“I have seen suggestions from national assembly speaker which are misplaced suggesting that the people would elect the party and the party elect the leader which is very ridiculous,”he said
Mr Gachagua is among section of MPs from the region who have been against the BBI that is fronted by president Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.

His counterpart Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has also been castigating opposition leader Raila Odinga claiming he is hypocrite.
MP has on various instances said that were it not for Ruto, Uhuru Kenyatta wouldn’t be the president.
“We must fulfil the promise that we gave deputy president William Ruto in 2013, and we will not allow the community to be used as case study by other communities that we don’t honour promises,”Ndindi once said.
Also Moses Kuria also belongs to the same click of leaders who are tasked to sell Ruto’s manifestos within the Mount Kenya region.
