Things are not good inside the Kenya Kwanza Alliance that is pushing for the election of DP William Ruto as the next President.

Kiambu leaders inside the alliance have started wrangling in what is expected to tumble down the once strong team.

Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo who is vying for the seat again in Tujibebe Wakenya party has revealed serious allegations about Ruto’s running mate Rigathi Gachagua.

Kabogo claims Gachagua is lethal and if Ruto becomes the next head of state, he will bring down his leadership.

He claimed to have warned Ruto about him before he picked him as his running.

This he purported created enmity between him and the Mathira MP.

“That guy is a dictator. I warned Ruto that he will loose a lot of votes because of this guy” Kabogo said in Kiambu.

Adding; “Imagine this, Ruto is unable to rule then according to constitution Gachagua takes as the president for the remainder of the term. You don’t know what would happen. Hamujui huyu jamaa”. (Watch video below).

Kabogo who insisted he is the defacto leader of Mt Kenya as president Uhuru Kenyatta’s term comes to an end in two months time said his intentions to quit Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

His trouble with the Ruto men started on Wednesday when he was engaged in a war of words with his rival Kimani Wamatangi who is in UDA, an affiliate of Kenya Kwanza.

The two exchanged bitter words publicly in Kiambu in presence of Ruto and Rigathi.

The division seems to have jolted Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria into action.

Kuria who is also vying for Kiambu gubernatorial seat via his Chama Cha Kazi party indicated he was not happy how they were being treated in the alliance.

He too wants to take a separate path as it appears Ruto, his running mate prefer the UDA’s candidate Wamatangi.

“I have seen Ruto and UDA want to swallow all political parties. I have refused that scheme. They want to do to us what they did to me in 2017 and later to Waititu” Kabogo claimed.
