Borabu MP Ben Momanyi has dismissed politicians calling for the postponement of the 2022 General Election terming them cowards.
Momanyi who has declared his candidature for the Nyamira governor’s seat told those who are not ready for the elections to pull out instead of calling for its postponement.
“Our constitution is very clear that we should go to the next general election on August 9, 2022 and there is no serious crisis in the country which could stop the elections from being held,” he said.
Addressing a delegation of his supporters at his Matutu residence home in Borabu constituency, the MP said the country was all set for the election.
