Raila Odinga extended his Mt Kenya tour Martha Karua’s home where she grew up.
The Azimio La Umoja coalition flagbearer visited Martha Karua’s mother, known as Mama Josephine Wanjiru Karua.
Raila was delighted to share a moment with her for the first time since she announced her daughter as the running mate.

“Good seeing Martha’s Mother, Mama Josephine Karua jovial and in high spirits. It was a pleasure,” captioned Raila as he shared the photos online.
Mama Josephine lives in Kerugoya, Kirinyaga County. The County is headed by Governor Ann Waiguru. She is married to Jackson Karua.
The two parents were more than happy when they heard that their daughter had been appointed as Raila’s running mate.

From the photos shared, Martha’s mother is living a happy life courtesy of her successful daughter.
Karua’s impact to Azimio has been of greater impact than Rigathi Gachagua’s to Kenya Kwanza as shown by opinion polls.
