Kiambu -based Willstone homes is in the eye of a storm again after selling hundreds of houses to unsuspecting customers on a non-existent piece of land along Kenyatta road.
The off plan company started advertising 100 houses in 2 courts namely Batian court and Elgon court on what it is called 14th groove on Kenyatta road just next to their mainstay projects.
All along, they had hoped that the land would be sold to them.
However, the land owner, identified as MRS Karanja, wife of the late vice president karanja declined to sell her 30 acres to them, throwing all their plans into disarray.
They have pulled down all the adverts for the said courts and the clients who had bought into them are now flocking into their offices in parklands and Ruiru demanding to know their fate, with some demanding immediate refunds which have not been availed.

Willstone Homes, lately associated with Andrew Kamau of Banda homes since the appointment of Banda homes formers C.E.O Fabian Nzivo into the same role has been on a steady decline with some projects running beyond their completion timelines, some by more than 2 years.
Most sales people in the company have also now opted to be independent agents claiming they know these problems all too well having previously worked for other companies.
There have been numerous complaints regarding the company building on land they do not own and most clients now look lost regarding since they do not have any tangible documentation for the billions of shillings they have poured into the projects.
Willstone Homes have been blaming their lawyer claiming that he has squandered millions of shillings meant for the process while on the other hand the lawyer claims that he can no longer represent a fraudulent company as this would tarnish his law firms name.
Most off-plan companies do not survive beyond their fourth year of operation and this seems to be the same case.
Willstone Homes has been targeting diaspora buyers through influencer marketing who have been wooing innocent buyers to buy in without knowing that they are buying contested property risking losing their hard earned money
